1) What results have you seen from Pilates? (Expected and unexpected)
Pilates has improved my muscle tone and definition. It has also significantly reduced my lower back pain.
2) What is Pilates’ biggest impact to your daily routine or favorite activities?
I love the great outdoors. Pilates helped me build up my core so that I could go on a multi-day kayak trip of the Apostle Islands. It also helps with my balance and coordination while hiking.
3) How long have you been practicing Pilates and how did you find REV Pilates Gym?
After I had surgery to fix a cartilage tear, both my physical therapist and surgeon recommended Pilates to get back in shape, restore full range of motion and reduce the risk of injury in the future. I have been doing Pilates at REV for the past two years. After researching various options, I choose REV because of their great one-on-one sessions and small group sessions. I love the personalized attention that instructors provide.
4) Tell us about you! Share your background, family, interests, etc.
I love going on lakeside walks with my favorite pooch. In fact, I love it so much I am moving into a home on Lake Thoreau in Reston!
