1) What results have you seen from Pilates? (Expected and unexpected)

It has helped maintain and increase strength and flexibly.  Unexpectedly, it has highlighted areas of tightness that I would have never found unless doing specific Pilates movements.  My physical therapist loves that he now has new areas to focus on.

2) What is Pilates’ biggest impact to your daily routine or favorite activities?

Pilates has helped ensure I keep active and work as much as possible on my leg and ankle movement.  Due to an autoimmune disease, I had quite a bit of muscle atrophy and anything I can do to help gain the muscle back and keep ankle movement gives me hope that long-term I won’t have any additional issues.   It also helps keep me enjoying my co-ed softball team.

3) How long have you been practicing Pilates and how did you find REV Pilates Gym?

I have been going to different types of gyms for years continuously searching for the best gym/routine that is light on the joints but provides a great workout.  Found REV Pilates down the street from my house!

4) Tell us about you! Share your background, family, interests, etc. 

I am getting married in July to my high school sweetheart and am looking forward to the big day!
