This class involves a series of pilates exercises performed on a mat without equipment. Each exercise emphasizes breath, control, and body awareness. Instructors will pay special attention to alignment and form. props can include foam rollers, bands, weighs, and the pilates ring.
Be prepared to move to upbeat music and build some lean muscle mass. Sculpted Warrior (SW) is the fusion of yoga's asanas and light weights. It is energetic, challenging, and we promise OMbelievably FUN! The class can be practiced barefoot or in gym shoes - you may want to bring a towel.

Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. In yoga nidra the practitioner remains in a state of light withdrawal of the 5 senses with four of his or her senses internalized, that is, withdrawn, and only the hearing still connects to the instructions. The yogic goal of both paths, deep relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation are the same.
Designed with the beginner in mind! This class will break down fundamental moves on the Mat, Reformer, Tower as needed to teach basic principles of Pilates movement. This is a preparatory class for all other Pilates equipment groups. There will be little to no flow of this class as it is covering basic movement principles only.
Pilates Tower is a stationary surface utilizing the springs attached to the vertical frame. Safe for all levels, this class provides endless options for positioning which can dictate challenge and modify for injury. A full body workout.

Challenge your core control, strength and balance on the Stability Chair. This unforgiving piece of equipment will hone your skills acquired on the Reformer and Tower. Please no injuries as modifications are limited. Pilates experience required.
